Jonathan is located in the Fujimi Kogen Pension Village at the elevation of 1,300 m. They have two types of accommodations, one is Santa Cottage where you can stay with your dog, and other is Jonathan Pension with an atrium and fireplace. They also have private tennis courts, which attract many tennis fans.
Full-course dinner at Jonathan
They serve seasonally inspired salad, soup, fish and meat dishes with rice, and dessert for dinner. From spring to autumn, you can have a BBQ party in the garden! During winter, enjoy kiritanpo nabe, a specialty hot pot dish of Akita Prefecture, where the owner’s wife is originally from.
Impressive collection of wine
Jonathan has a large wine cellar storing 1,000 bottles of wines. They have many different wines, from full-bodied wine, Germen red wine, rose, to original wine.
Pension's mascot dog
The owner had always dreamed of working in a mountain, and he started this pension with his dog named John. The pension’s name comes from John's JO, his wife Naoko's NA, and since there are three of them, the name ends with "three" in Japanese, THAN. The mascot dog welcomes the guests every day.
