Tsutaki-juku is an unusual road rest area that comes with a natural hot spring. Many people come here for the onsen. You can recharge both your body and soul with hot spring and soba.
Onsen & food set menu
If you are bathing and dining, definitely try the set menu. You can enjoy both of them cheaper this way. The set menu comes with cold soba, tendon (tempura over rice bowl), or soy sauce ramen noodle.
Souvenirs and fresh vegetables
Don't forget to stop by at the shop selling the specialties of Fujimi and Yatsugatake, and fresh vegetables grown by local farmers. They even have Tsutaki-mai, rice grown just outside of the road rest area.
