Learn how to cook soba under the kind guidance of an experienced soba chief at Okkoto-tei tucked away in the red pine forest.
After lunch, we will tour the mysterious Hienosoko village, which existed in Fujimi town until about 300 years ago but much remains unknown.

Soba Restaurant Okkoto-tei
Traditional Nagano style soba restaurant serving the handmade soba using local whole grain buckwheat. Here, you can take a soba cooking class and purchase Nagano's specialties, freshly harvested vegetables, and flowers.
Hienosoko Village
Approximately until 300 years ago, people lived in Hienosoko village cherishing the crystal clear spring running from Yatsugatake mountain through this village. Currently what remains of this ancient village are the traces of people drawing water and small stone shrines.
